Reading the chart. The purple line is the cumulative count of active and watch disruption pins published on Global Energy Flow's shortages page. The five thinner lines below it are the country-specific subsets that have dedicated regional pages. The May 14–15 vertical climb reflects an internal audit that added 20 pins across South Asia (Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Nepal), East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan), and Latin America (Bolivia, Cuba), plus dedicated Australia retail+aviation pins, India retail, and watch entries for Egypt, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Namibia and Mauritius. The chart shows pin publication dates — when each disruption first appeared in our coverage — not real-world event start dates.
